Lemon Oil (Sicily)

the Lemon tree is a small thorny evergreen tree commonly found in Southern Europe, Florida and California.

Common Uses: Lemon (Sicily) Essential Oil is well known as an excellent cleanser. However, it is equally effective as an antiseptic.  Lemon (Sicily) Essential Oil is both cooling and refreshing at the same time.   It may be used on skin and hair for its cleansing effect, as well as for treating cuts and boils.

Aromatic Scent: Lemon (Sicily) Essential Oil has a strong citrus scent.

History: The fruit was well known in Europe by the middle ages, and Greeks and Romans were advocates of its therapeutic properties. Lemon (Sicily) essential oil reached the height of its fame when the British began using the citrus fruit to counteract the effects of scurvy.
